Experience in conducting plant science research is required. The Tropical Research and Education Center (TREC) of the University of Florida in Homestead, Florida is seeking a postdoctoral associate to work on a project to study soil salinity impacts on vegetable crops and diseases.ĭuties and Responsibilities: The candidate will conduct research to determine the impacts of soil salinity on vegetable diseases, evaluate chemical and biological inducers for their potential to mitigate impact of salinity and the diseases, and investigate the mechanisms of increased resistance to salinity and diseases by the inducers.
